My first project with Windmill, we pitched for and won the UK web business when Findus UK wanted to establish an online presence.
Working with the Findus marketing team we devised the strategy for the site – a quarterly magazine with seasonal recipes, games and projects for kids, ask the expert columns and features promoting frozen foods, fish, vegetables and healthy living; as well as being a repository of product and nutritional information.
Working with a designer and a team of developers I was responsible for project management, ia (content inventory, site map, wireframes) and creative direction. For the next two years I managed the updates, a re-skin of the site over the original CMS and then a rebuild of the back-end – managing both content and development for a further two years from both London and Auckland.
Site launch in 2000, I worked on the site until late 2004.
